What is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)?

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in healthcare by providing essential support to patients with their daily living activities and basic care needs. Under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), CNAs ensure that patients receive the attention necessary for their comfort and well-being.

In this dynamic and rewarding position, CNAs assist with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, directly impacting the lives of those in their care. Many pursue a career as a CNA as a stepping stone toward advancing their education and careers, with opportunities to become an LVN or RN. The skills and experience gained as a CNA are invaluable for thriving in the healthcare industry.

Day Hybrid Schedule

Our Day Hybrid Schedule offers the perfect balance between flexibility and hands-on learning. For the first 3 weeks, students complete the Online Theory portion of the course, allowing them to study at their own pace from home. The following 3 weeks are dedicated to in-person Clinical training, providing real-world experience in a supervised healthcare environment. This structure allows you to learn critical nursing skills without sacrificing your current commitments.

First 3 Weeks: Online Theory

During the initial 3 weeks, you’ll cover the theoretical foundations of nursing care, including patient rights, basic nursing skills, and safety protocols, all from the comfort of your own home. Our online learning platform is accessible 24/7, making it easy to fit learning into your schedule, whether you are working or managing other responsibilities.

Last 3 Weeks: In-person Clinical

The final 3 weeks of the program focus on in-person Clinical training, giving you the opportunity to apply what you've learned in a real healthcare setting. This hands-on experience is critical for building confidence and competence in patient care. You’ll work under the supervision of experienced healthcare professionals, ensuring that you are fully prepared for the demands of a CNA role.

CNA State Exam On Our Campus

One of the key benefits of our program is that the CNA State Exam is administered right on our campus. You won’t need to worry about traveling to a different location for the exam. This added convenience reduces stress and allows you to focus on passing the exam with confidence. The exam fee is included in your tuition, so there are no surprise costs.
