What is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)?
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in healthcare by providing essential support to patients with their daily living activities and basic care needs. Under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), CNAs ensure that patients receive the attention necessary for their comfort and well-being.
In this dynamic and rewarding position, CNAs assist with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, directly impacting the lives of those in their care. Many pursue a career as a CNA as a stepping stone toward advancing their education and careers, with opportunities to become an LVN or RN. The skills and experience gained as a CNA are invaluable for thriving in the healthcare industry.
